Frequently asked questions and helpful tips for the game.

General Questions

What is my goal?

Your goal is to become the best player you can be! You can do this by earning lots of money, finishing all the achievements or having the best stats; such as most buildings, most trucks.

It's up to you how you want to play the game.

How do I earn money?

You can earn money by taking on jobs from the job board. The money you receive depends on the cargo, distance and a bit of luck.

The most efficient way to earn money is take jobs with a short distance, assuming you can manage to accept another job when it finishes. All jobs have a base price, so if you can run more jobs often, you'll make more.

Finding the right job

The job board has a pretty decent filtering system, so you can easily find the jobs that suit your needs. You can filter for starting location (origin), destination, cargo type and more.

Cargo type, as well as the country dropdowns, can be multi-selected.

Origin and Destination also have a checkbox for "Include nearby", which will broaden the search. (Only if you have a city selected)

We also have checkboxes for when you're looking for jobs where the Origin is an International hub, has a casino or is a port city.

Tips
  • You can change the default "Sort by" option in your settings.
  • If you want to end up in a specific city, but there's no direct job, you can use the "Include nearby" checkbox to end up in the area, making the transfer distance for your next job shorter.
  • To get the "Land Bridge" achievement, you need a job that's between two locations that both have a port. Start by searching jobs from ports.

Tips

  • Try to keep your trucks busy, the less idle your trucks are, the more money you make.
  • International jobs have a €500 euro bonus.
  • Everybody starts with a Dry Box trailer, you could use your first money to buy a Reefer or Tanker.
  • .. on top of that, you can always switch out your trailer from the Garage.
  • When buying your 2nd truck, remember you also need to buy a trailer. Make sure you have enough money saved up!
  • While buildings help with cost-savings, you should aim to hit your truck limit first.
  • If your truck breaks down, you'll have to pay an extra fine. Starting from 75% maintenance, there will be a 5% chance of breakdown. At 50% there will be a 25% chance and lower than 25% maintance, there will be a 50% chance of complete breakdown.
  • Partake in the forums and Discord, it's a great way to get tips and tricks from other players, and to share your own!
  • You can switch your timezone in the settings, as well as pick one of the many themes.
